"Been burning this every evening for the past month, my living room genuinely smells like a hotel lobby now"

Light a Candle.
Take a Breath.
Let the rest of the world dissappear for a while
Lukts is a scented candle brand built around the idea that fragrance is more than decoration. It is a small ritual you return to at the end of a long day, a way to mark a moment, and a quiet signal that this space is yours. Every Lukts candle is made to slow things down, not speed them up.
The name Lukts is inspired by the word "lux", the Latin root for light. It also carries the sound of old Nordic and Germanic words for flame, glow, and warmth. So the name sits at the intersection of two ideas: light as a physical thing, and light as a feeling. A Lukts candle is meant to be both.
Three things. First, the fragrance blends are built for balance, not intensity, so they fill a room without overwhelming it. Second, the wax is chosen to burn evenly and cleanly. Third, every candle is designed as a piece of decor, so it earns its place in your home even before you light it.
Scent is one of the fastest ways to shift mood. It's tied directly to memory and emotion. A candle burning in the background can turn a rushed morning into something calmer, mark the end of a workday, or make a small apartment feel more like home. It's a small ritual that adds a sense of intention to ordinary moments.
Beyond fragrance, candles are a design element. The vessel, wax color, and flicker of the flame add warmth and texture that overhead lighting can't. A well chosen candle ties into a room's palette (think neutral stoneware jars for minimalist spaces, amber glass for warmer, cozier interiors) and works as a styling piece even when unlit.
Many people use them for exactly that. Scents like lavender, sandalwood, and vanilla are commonly associated with calm, while citrus and mint are used for a lift in energy. This is part of aromatherapy tradition, though it's worth noting candles are for ambience and comfort rather than a medical treatment.
It depends on size and burn habits, but a standard 8 oz candle burned in 2 to 4 hour sessions usually lasts 40 to 60 hours. Trimming the wick to about ¼ inch before each burn and letting the wax pool fully across the surface on the first burn both help it last longer and burn more evenly.
